Guanzhou is a town of flower, with many pools. The aim of this festival to create a connection between Guangzhou, Fanyu District and the outside world.

The Dalian Beer Festival starts at 7.30 pm on July 28th at the Huabiao center stage. There are many exciting activities such as: Opening Ceremony, festive singinga fireworks show, ceremonial beer cask opening and a festival flag raising.

More than 300,000 tourists join in the festival from all over the world. Activities in the festival include a Beer Quiz, photography contest, a beer disco plaza, a beer drinking contest. It is one of the most significant festivals in China. Let’s go and enjoy the beer festival.

 

Ziyuan Water Lantern and Song Festival

Location: Guilin

How to get there: take a bus from Guilin, which costs only 30 yuan and takes about 2 hours

Nearby attractions: Bajiaozhai National Forest Park, Longdong Gap, National Geological Park,  Baoding Fall, etc.

Ziyuan Water Lantern and Song Festival are one of the most popular carnivals in China and it held in Ziyuan County. The local people celebrating this festival as a blessing ceremony. The festival includes many rich activities with dragon-lion dancing, like folk song competitions, strong local characteristics and cock-fighting. If you are there, you can’t miss the fantastic water lanterns scenic view at night.

The traveler can taste the local specialties (red grapes, organic tea, kiwi fruit), local folk song competitions, making Water Lanterns, floating Water Lanterns, Art Performance, Photo Contest and agricultural Fair and Commodity Sales Exhibition. Some tips: you need a thick coat to keep warm at night because the temperature is always changing between day and night.
