Chengdu is famous for the panda center, but there are many attractions: mountain, scenery,  museums, temples and ancient architectures. The Chengdu tour is a good choice for Chinese experiences because the city symbolize the local traditions and culture.

Jinli Old Street

Location: NO. 231 Wuhou Hall Street (to the east of Wuhou Hall)


The Jinli is the oldest street in China with 350 meters long. On the street are many tea houses, handiwork, inns, wine bars and so on. The visitor can taste the local foods, snacks and specialties. This street making people that feel the old times and they were in the past again. Most of the buildings present the western Sichuan Province.


There are so many activities:

  1. local costumes, folk music are hold festivals on the ancient stage
  2. the tourist can taste the local food,
  3. on the street are painting,  puppet shadow shows and shaping clay figurines.

The Giant panda reservation is located on Futoushan Mountain, in Sichuan province. It is 30 minutes by taxi from Chengdu. The giant panda museum is the only museum which focuses the critically endangered animals. In the museum the visitor can admire many giant pandas, pictures about pandas and scientific displays about it.

There is a part of books, where many writers and scientists written about the panda’s history and its way of living. The best time to visit is in the morning at between 8:30 and 10:00. After this time, the pandas sleeping. The tourists can learn about the Chinese government that how they protect the endangered animals includes the giant panda as well.


Wuhou Memorial Temple

The Wuhou memorial temple is China’s famous historic figures. The temple is very interesting about its history (the three Kingdom period after 200 AD in China). The entrance fee is 60 RMB. It has a cultural value, peace and quite. Around the temple are many souvenir shops and garbages for foreigners. There are amazing gardens and plantings which are pull the tourists.
