China is a big country with a lot of amazing mountains. Mountains areas make up 69% of China’s landscape. This natural environments has lured tourists from all over the world. China is a home of a lot of breathtaking mountains, loved by many mountaineers and tourists.

Here is a list with the most famous mountains in China have been mentioned: Mt.Everest, Yellow Mountain (Mt. Huangshan), Mt. Taishan which are famous for their beauty and  they cause great excitement for mountain climbers.

 

The Yellow Mountains

The Yellow Mountains located in Huangshan City in East China and it is one of the top view-spot of China. A famous scenic mountain featuring grotesque rocks, shaped pines, sea of clouds and sunrise or sunset. It was a UNESCO World Heritage Site (1990) and one of the most famous tourist destinations.

The original name was Mt. Yishan but renamed Mt. Huangshan in 747 AD, after the legendary Yellow Emperor who was the reputed ancestor of the Chinese people and who became a supernatural being.  Together with the Great Wall, The Yellow River and the Yangtze River it becomes the most famous symbols of China. The most popular activity on the Yellow Mt. is looking around the scenery and at the top you can do a few walks. You can relax here because it is peace and quiet. The best time to see the sunrise is: Spring —- 05:30-06:00
Summer —- 04:40-05:10
Fall —- 04:50-05:20
Winter —- 05:30-06:00

The best experience is watching the sunrises because it is a highly recommended activity and very popular. At the top are many hotels, restaurants and other facilities, so if you will be hungry there serve you.

 

The Mount Everest

The Mount Everest is one of the most famous masterpieces of the nature and the highest mountain of the world with 8,844.43 m. (29,017 ft).  Climbing on Mount Everest is very dangerous because the weather is changing quickly in a day: snow, wind and storms. The best period for climbing is between early March and late May, early September and late October. Mt. Everest is bordered by on the south of Sino-Nepal Road, about 100 km. (62 mi.).

I give you some travel tips: if you are hungry I recommended you the  Rongbuk Monastery for a dining which is located at the foot of the Mt. Everest. This is the world’s highest temple with an altitude of about 5000 m. The area of the Mt. Everest was built a  national natural reserves whereabouts leave a lot of kinds of plants and many varieties of wild animals. At the top of the mountain is covered with snow in all year. China trip to Mt. Everest and Tibet are the most significant natural view for the tourists.

 

Mt. Taishan

Mt. Taisan is the leader of the “Five Sacred Mountains” which is located in the center of Shandong Province, and to the north of the city Tai’an. It is the tallest mountain is the Jade Emperor Peak with 1,545 metres (5,069 ft) tall. The Mt. Taishan was listed in 1987 Cultural Heritage List of UNESCO.  Its reputation comes from its cultural position, because 1,000 years before became a sacred place by emperors to offer meditate in the Zhou Dynasty.

At the foot of the mountain is the Taishan Temple which is one of major palace architectural complexes in China. The other complex in near the top of the Mt.Taishan is the Azure Cloud Temples,  a special combination of wood and stone structures.  From the Taishan Temple to the Azure Clouds Temple, there are numerous inscriptions, stone tables and ancient buildings on the way. Visitors derive much pleasure from climbing Mount Taishan.
