Beijing is the capital city of China, where you can spend a lot of time. Many tourists think that it is a very expensive city but my article show it is not true. In Beijing are many places where don’t have an entrance fee and in this way you can save a lot of money. The travelers can see many amazing monuments, attractions and breathtaking parks without breaking the bank. The tourists can scroll around the nature and the streets which is entertaining. The range of free Beijing sightings is INCREDIBLE.

Tiananmen Square

Tiananmen Square is the world’s largest square which is located in the center of Beijing. You can walk freely on the Tiananmon Square and you will see many attractions: -on the west side of the square was built the Great Hall, in the center the Heroes Monument, on the east the Chinese Revolutionary Museum and on the south Chairman Memorial Hall. Tiananmen Square is a symbol of the new China and Beijing.

The Chairman Mao Memorial Hall was built in 1977 and with over 28,000 square meter area is one of the most  beautiful monuments in Beijing. The Memorial Halls including 2 floors and the first floor is the place for commemorative rites. There are many paintings on the wall and in the center is the statue of Mao Zedong with 3.45 tall. On the second floor are the memorial halls for revolutionary achievements of Mao Zedong. In the center of the six rooms/halls take place the marble statue of the six leaders.

The statue of the six leaders is free from 08:30 to 12:00 from Tuesday to Sunday. The Chairman Memorial Hall is open at 8:00 to 12:00 from Tuesday to Sunday
08:00 to 11:30 & 14:00 to 16:00 on Sep. 9 (the day Chairman Mao passed away) and Dec. 26 (the birthday of Chairman Mao).

Qianmen Street is in the center of Beijing and near to Tiananment Square with some long-standing stores. There are many well-known stores where the tourists can buy a lot of souvenirs. It is a historical place where streetcars, an archway and bird cages are naturally on the street in Beijing. The street contains many relics and has become a street of architectural and folk culture. The Qianmen Street is a deep cultural area and one of the most beautiful place in Beijing- and it’s free!
